While you may be anxious to get started, it is important to properly prepare for the case. For example, for surveillance investigations, gathering pre-surveillance information is crucial to develop helpful intelligence. This information is beneficial during the planning and operational stage of the investigation.

This is to insure we are able to tell you whether or not you even need our services to begin with. While we’re happy to work with you to uncover additional information, we’re not interested in taking your money for cases that we know won’t lead anywhere. Q: How long will it take to complete my investigation?A: This can vary from case to case. It begins with understanding your exact needs. The information provided by you as our client is carefully examined and a plan of action is developed. The length of the time it takes to complete investigations depends on several factors, such as the scope and type of investigation. For example, while two cases involving infidelity or child custody investigations may on their face be similar, they often result in case specific leads and other information that needs to further be investigated. As a client of Tactical Investigation, you will have one point of contact and are provided with status updates during the investigation.

Q: What forms of payment does Tactical Investigation take?A: An invoice is either emailed or mailed to you as the client. You can then choose to pay via credit card on our website TacticalInvestigationstx.com, over the phone or electronically via the invoice emailed to them.

Q: What is Tactical Investigations fees for Investigations?A: Tactical Investigations charges an hourly fee for its services, which varies depending on the type of case but is generally between $85.00 to $125 per hour. Additional fees for mileage or unforeseen expenses may apply, but these will always be discussed with you in writing before proceeding. An advance partial or retainer fee is required at the start of every case.

Q: Do private investigators need to be licensed?A: In most states, yes. 45 out of the 50 states do require a private investigator’s license in order for someone operating as a private investigator to perform his or her duties. The State of Texas does require private investigators or detectives to be licensed. The Texas Department of Public Safety, or DPS oversees the licensing requirements for private investigators.

How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
